Melissa Escalera joined MUFG in July 2004 as a Training Coordinator while obtaining her Bachelors in Social Work & Industrial/Organizational Psychology at San Diego State University.  Since beginning her career at MUFG 15 years ago, Melissa has contributed to the design and execution of various MUFG training and leadership development programs, including the Global Rotation Training Program (GRTP), oneRIVER, Union Bank Management Training Program (MTP), and New Employee Orientation. In 2013, Melissa spent 6-weeks in Tokyo as a selected participant of the Union Bank Retail Exchange Program.  Over the years, Melissa has always maintained a role within Talent Development having been promoted multiple times, and currently is a Vice President within the Inclusion & Diversity Department.
