Boeing Commercial Airplanes
Angela Li is the Director of Software Engineering for Boeing Commercial Airplanes. Named to this role in March of 2024, she is responsible for the development, integration, and certification for all software on Boeing Commercial Airplanes. This includes technical oversight of both internal and external software development.
Prior to her current role, Angela served as the Director of 737 MAX Development Airplane Systems. Before joining the 737 MAX program, she held several engineering and leadership roles within the Electronic Systems Design Center. She spent much of her time leading the Boeing Flight Management Systems Integration leader as well as Avionics leader for 747, VC-25B, 767, KC-46, and 787 programs.
Angela is a graduate of the University of Washington in Seattle, where she received her B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering. She holds the role of Boeing Executive Focal for the University of Washington Electrical and Computer Engineering Department and is a member of their Advisory Board. In addition, Angela is currently the Enterprise President of the Boeing Asian and Pacific Association (BAPA).
In her spare time, Angela enjoys traveling, exploring new restaurants, playing competitive tennis, and is currently making a solid attempt to pick up golf.
